Smith Township, which is one of the fourteen townships of Mahoning County, Ohio, United States, was organized in March 1821 upon the petition of Judge William Smith. Fiscal Officer Mary Winters (not pictured) is up for re-election in 2016.
The township is governed by a three-member board of trustees, who are elected in November of odd-numbered years to a four-year term beginning on the following January 1.
